Earlier this evening, the Athena III crew launched into orbit embarking on their mission to become the first humans back to the moon’s surface since 1972. WorldTek CEO Joseph Graves confirmed that the launch went smoothly without any problems. Graves also confirmed that the Fornax capsule carrying Captain Kelsey Clark, Pierre Laurent, and Alexei Levedev successfully separated from the Earth2Moon launch vehicle. From here, it will take a few days for the capsule to reach the moon and touch down on the surface. Once it does, Captain Kelsey Clark will take the first steps onto the surface of the moon making her the first woman to ever walk on the moon.
