The Conglomerate Artifact:
Journal Entry #2
Martin Norfolk
August 12th, 1926
My intuition about the artifact was correct. It matches the artifact at the British Museum in London but now I am left with more questions than answers.
The artifact from the museum has writing on it but not any known language that the Museum could identify. It's certainly possible it's from long dead people who have yet to be discovered.
With the help of the Museum's curator, we were able to find that the two artifacts seem to be two pieces of a larger whole. Once the two pieces joined together, what appeared to be scratches revealed themselves to be two parts of a picture of a mountain. Which mountain was it and would it lead to a third piece of the artifact?
The curator knew I had stumbled onto a huge discovery and let me borrow the Museum's artifact piece so that I could find answers to my questions.
